Following the process laid down in the UCC Manual, our Joint Needs Assessment has been approved by Halifax Presbytery and a Vacancy has been declared for Rockingham United Church as of July 1, 2010. Rockingham United has a history of great ministry in the Rockingham area of the city of Halifax in Nova Scotia.

Position Summary
This is a full time (40 hours per week) position for Ministry Personnel Ordained in Word, Sacrament and Pastoral Care. It will be of particular interest to Ministry Personnel with strong leadership, educational and development abilities gained through education or experience. The congregation will welcome a warm, caring, outgoing individual of strong faith with excellent preaching skills. The challenge will be guiding the congregation through the completion of a transition to rebuild a stable, positive and vibrant Christian community.
